Hi Colin, sorry for the delayed reply. We had this question last month on the list, and John had succeeded to create a shared library by just adding -shared flag during build. But I haven't tested it myself yett. Maybe Christoph can help you with that during the hackathon! We should officially add the -shared flag to soslib build process.
