In the case where an empty PARAMVALUE is passed (i.e. a PARAMVALUE with a self-closing tag) during a CIM METHODCALL query, the XML parser will assign a bad CMPIType value to the parameter. The correct behavior is to assign the CMPIType to null here, and allow the the updateMethodParamTypes() function to determine the correct CMPIType by checking how it is defined in the class repository.
