New Release: ECUTE Modeler 2.3.15

What is new in the Extensible CIM and UML Tooling Environment (ECUTE) Modeler version 2.3.15?

Features and Bug Fixes in this release:
1. 2492411 Modeler: MOF Export does not preserve the order of elements
2. 1940041 Modeler: Incorrect class in Defined In column of qualifiers
3. 1831691 Modeler: No support for class level qualifier flavors
4. 1708699 Modeler: subassociation cannot define additional key property
5. 1940059 Modeler: Inconsistent display of updates in qualifier dialog
6. 1940056 Modeler: Package path in qualifiers "Defined In" field
7. 1940036 Modeler: Property names in Defined In column of qualifiers
8. 1831675 Modeler: Error message for unknown qualifier can be improved
9. 1826707 Modeler: central include file creation fails

Enhancements:
In this release, we cleaned up many flaws and inconsistencies among the qualifiers.
One noticeable item is that a more thorough validation of the Key qualifier is in place.
Now user will see error, warning or informational messages if additional key qualifier is
used. Please refer bug report: 1708699 for more information.

Version Info:
This ECUTE Modeler package, version 2.3.15, supercedes all previous versions of ECUTE2.2-*,
ECUTE2.1-* and earlier ECUTE Modeler 2.3.* packages.

A compressed zip file, sblim-ecute-modeler-2.3.15.zip, is available and feedback is welcome:

System Requirements:
* Rational Software Architect (RSA) Version 7.x or Rational Software Modeler (RSM) Version 7.0.x
* Windows 2000, XP or Linux (kernel level 2.6)

Installation:
1. Unpack the content of the zip file (sblim-ecute-modeler-2.3.15.zip) into an empty folder.

This will create 4 files (site.xml, Readme.txt, MOF Format Rules.pdf and
ECUTE Modeler-CIM MOF Import & Export userguide.pdf ) and 2 directories (features and plugins),
that contain one file (com.ibm.ecute_2.3.15.jar) each.

2. For RSAv7.0.x:
2a. Startup RSAv7.0.x and go to "Help" -> "Software Update" -> "Find and Install..."

2b. Select "Search for new features to install" and click "Next".

2c. Select "New Local Site..." and enter a name and the path to the directory, in which
you extracted the zip file contents. Click Ok to return to main screen. Make sure
to check the new Update site and click "Next".

2d. Check "IBM ECUTE Modeler for RSA/RSMv7 2.3.15" and click "Next".

2e. Check "I accept the terms in the license agreement" and click "Next".

2f. An overview of the ECUTE installation is shown. Click "Finish" to start the installation
process.

2g. Click "Install All" on the Feature Verification screen.

2h. After the installation of the ECUTE feature has finished, restart RSA7. This will complete
the installation process and enable the ECUTE functionality.

3. For RSAv7.5.x:
3a. Startup RSAv7.5.x and go to "Help" -> "Software Update"

3b. Select "Add Site..." and enter the path to the directory, in which you extracted
the zip file contents. Click "Ok" to return to main screen.

3c. Check the new Update site.

3d. Check "IBM ECUTE Modeler for RSA/RSMv7 2.3.15" and click "Next".

3e. Check "I accept the terms in the license agreement" and click "Next".

3f. An overview of the ECUTE installation is shown. Click "Finish" to start the installation
process.

3h. After the installation of the ECUTE feature has finished, restart RSA7. This will complete
the installation process and enable the ECUTE functionality.
