Hi Frank , there are serveral clients which you can use for first steps . I have no experiences with the Pegasus test client . So here I am not the best person to ask for support ;-) . But I know two java-based clients . For my testing I use the cimbrowser delivered with the SNIA CIMOM . Because client and server communicate via CIM ops over HTTP , you can mix your test environment . So the java-based client can contact Pegasus without problems . We have tested this constellation here . SBLIM itself offers a client too . The SRI package is a java-based , explorer-like client and config- urable via XML . A sample config file is included . If you want to get more information about SRI you can contact Ulrich Kurz ( u_...@de... ) . ... heidi Mfg / Regards Heidi Neumann Linux Technology Center - Systems Management - IBM Laboratory Boeblingen - Germany - Sch=F6naicher Str. 220 - 71032 - B=F6blingen Phone : ++49 (0) 7031 / 16 - 3193 hei...@de... http://oss.software.ibm.com/developerworks/projects/sblim/ __________________ >From: "Heidi Neumann" <HEI...@de...> >To: fra...@ho..., sed...@ya... >CC: sbl...@ww... >Subject: Re: [Sblim-devel] Pegasus version that works with SBLIM >Date: Thu, 28 Feb 2002 17:06:43 +0100 > ><HN> Oh sorry . I hope it was not to much effort for you ? Can you sen= d >a tar/zip of the fixed module back to me , that I can check it into ou= r >CVS ? That would be great ! No problem. I'm OK with typos... anything more complex on the other han= d... ;-) BTW, what would you suggest as a simple client to start up using the SB= LIM instrumentation? I was thinking of modifying the `Pegasus/Client/test',= is that a good choice?
