wow , great to hear that there is interest in the
consistency discussion out there :-) !!!

as you have seen in the last discussion threads
Sun requested some deeper changes . These changes
are reviewed and discussed currently - so we have
no result for this until now .

'fsvol' is in sync with the status of the LVM mof
version 0.5 . We discuss a common version for a
LVM schema while 'fsvol' is the Linux specific
implementation . So the classes defined in our
Linux mofs will be relevant whether we change
super-classes in the common schema ( e.g.
LVMLogicalVolume becomes sub-class of StorageVolume
instead of LogicalDisk ) or not . I suppose a deeper
impact could have my last proposal ... if accepted
... to the 'meaning' of some classes . But thats
more in the file system related schema part , and
currently not valid for 'fsvol' .

If changes in the schema influence 'fsvol' I will
post it on the SBLIM page .

I'm following the discussion on the WBEMsource schema consistency list as
well: Are the `fsvol' providers up to date wrt. that discussion?
