Currently, CBDeliverIndication does not return until cURL returns. This can cause a delay, especially if cURL needs time to do hostname resolution. The deliverIndicaiton call will lock the upcall mutex, which can slow things down a lot in the provider (especially if there are multiple providers in one group).
