Good thinking, I was so focused on the .exe I never thought about trying to get the naked .jar to run! Maybe there are only 2 of us using the software, but I am sure I'll be using it a lot ... it's great to see what's playing since my device is all the way across the room. Cheers!
Hi and thanks for your interest! I was wondering a few months back whether anyone (else) still uses this software, or Soundbridges, for that matter. Unfortunately I can't be of much help on the Windows packaging since I didn't work on that part of it. I can say that the jar file still runs for me, on Linux at least, and on versions as late as Java 8. It is likely to work on later versions too, but I haven't tried them.
