Hi; I've been using a library of Edi Weitz' - CL-FAD - for awhile without difficulties in a Slime environment. But when I try to load it at the SBCL command line operating without slime, it fails. I sent Edi the debug listing and he thinks it is a problem with sb-posix. See below for the debug listing. Does anyone have any idea what the problem is and if there's a work around? Thanks. --Jeff ----- Forwarded message from Edi Weitz <ed...@ag...> ----- Date: Mon, 15 Jan 2007 13:21:09 +0100 From: Edi Weitz <ed...@ag...> To: Jeffrey Cunningham <je...@cu...> Subject: Re: cl-fad and sbcl In-Reply-To: <200...@ac...> (Jeffrey Cunningham's message of "Sun, 14 Jan 2007 21:32:01 -0800") User-Agent: Gnus/5.1006 (Gnus v5.10.6) Emacs/23.0.0 (windows-nt) X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 3.1.0-gr0 (2005-09-13) on tartarus.olympus.net X-Spam-Level: X-Spam-Status: No, score=-2.5 required=5.0 tests=AWL,BAYES_00,UPPERCASE_25_50 autolearn=ham version=3.1.0-gr0 Hi! Yes, looks like something with SB-POSIX. > Have you run across this problem? Any ideas? Nope, I've never seen that before. Maybe it's something with environment variables? I think you should ask the SBCL guys. Cheers, Edi. ----- End forwarded message ----- |

Unless you've really installed SBCL in /home/jcunningham/.fasls/sbcl-1.0-linux-x86/usr/local/, it seems to me that this is something like asdf-binary-locations messing things up, and trying to recompile the contribs later. Sorry, no idea of how to work around that, besides not using asdf-binary-locations. -- Juho Snellman |
