I have put a tgz of the latest sb-bsd-effort up on:
Sorry this isn't done as a diff, but sourceforge/CVS is not behaving
for me right now, and I wanted to get this up before I disappear for
the next week.
I worked through all of the WARNINGS and STYLE-WARNINGS, and there
should be sb-alien versions of everything in win32-sockets and win32-
constants. I've gotten past all of the obvious sb-bsd-socket porting
issues, and am now stuck with things like UNIX-GETUID.
NOTE: I also was having issues with my attempt to make sure WSAStartup
() gets called before anyone tries to use any sockets functions on
win32. you can see the commented out effort at the top of
sockets.lisp. I get a complaint about undefined function make-wsa-
version. If anyone has any advice, I'd appreciate it. I'm just
stumped because make-wsa-version is right there with all the other
sockint package functions that are referenced all throughout this
same file. I am assuming that this is a case of when stuff gets
evaluated, and that I'm missing a USE or REQUIRE somewhere.
Hope this is useful to someone else.
