Noticing that 0.6.13 source is now out in the sourceforge file release section, I took the opportunity to build some binaries on the platforms I have available (Linux x86 and alpha) Packaging technology being something I only get involved in as part of cCLan, these consist basically of the files you'd get if you built sbcl yourself from source, so you also want to grab the source archive for documentation, manual pages, etc etc, then untar one of these on top :; tar jtf sbcl-0.6.13-2.i386.tar.bz2 sbcl_0.6.13-2.diff.gz sbcl-0.6.13/src/runtime/sbcl sbcl-0.6.13/src/runtime/sbcl.nm sbcl-0.6.13/output/sbcl.core and similarly for the alpha. The tree I compiled isn't precisely a vanilla 0.6.13, but the diff included - which is the same diff as I posted here yesterday - has all the relevant differences Get them from <URL:ftp://ftp.linux.org.uk/pub/lisp/>, ignoring, if you can, the vast piles of other dross in that directory Debian GNU/Linux packages are also available as part of cCLan: if you're running Debian and don't know about cCLan yet, go and visit http://cclan.sourceforge.net/ for more information. cCLan is not part of the official Debian repository. -dan -- http://ww.telent.net/cliki/ - Link farm for free CL-on-Unix resources |
