Well, you are not going to be able to run SBCL under Cygwin, regardless of what you do... believe me, I tried... hard! :)

Just get the windows binary and a windows emacs and slime and you are off to having fun with Nlisp ( i guess, never tried nlisp).

I built SBCL under Cygwin without clisp... but then learned the resulting binary would only run under Windows and no amount of pretending by me would change that :)

[Sbcl-help] cygwin compile error: missing genesis/Makefile.features

I am using clisp 2.43 to try and compile sbcl (I would like to run Nlisp on it).

I am getting a couple of ignorable errors, but the build stops with
the error message
make: Entering directory `/tmp/sbcl-1.0.13/src/runtime'
GNUmakefile:31: genesis/Makefile.features: No such file or directory
make: *** No rule to make target `genesis/Makefile.features'.  Stop.
make: Leaving directory `/tmp/sbcl-1.0.13/src/runtime'

I saw some posts on the web about it but no answers.

Is that something easily fixed (I am not a lisp wizard), or should I
go to the experimental windows release?

Thank you,
