I went to install sbcl 1.0.51 on windows this morning, and, on both Win XP and Windows 7 I got that the .cab file was corrupt.  I was able to install 1.0.50 with no problems.

Would you please check that the md5 and/or sha1 sums for your sbcl installer match the following?

$ md5sum sbcl-1.0.51-x86-windows-binary.msi
fdf5c53cc84d531228e04aa15ffccfde *sbcl-1.0.51-x86-windows-binary.msi

$ sha1sum sbcl-1.0.51-x86-windows-binary.msi
1735d0b6b1112f993f1ab80c26ce3474dbb7aa68 *sbcl-1.0.51-x86-windows-binary.msi

If not, then please redownload the installer. If so, then we have some debugging to do...
