The Android app discussed in this thread (which I wrote) has a pane with a rudimentary editor that allows to define one or two constant beats. Also, the pane where the SBG script is displayed is editable, allowing a few quick changes. This is not much, but I am afraid the interface of a handheld device is not really suited for complex editing. All suggestions are welcome, though. Or, even better, patches. As a side note, some may have noticed that I reimplemented part of SBaGen for ffmpeg's libavcodec. That means that software based on it, including MPlayer and, possibly, some builds of VLC, should now be able to play most SBG files directly. (As for "part of": spinning noise and waveforms will almost certainly not be implemented; immediate and preprogrammed sequences will be someday.) I consider using it for the Android app, it would allow seeking and possibly slightly lesser battery consumption. Regards, -- Nicolas George |
