I'm proud to announce the first bugfix release 0.11.1 of the 0.11 series of
the Simple Backup suite.

This release in particular fixes:

* [Fix]: revamped packaging: use distutils and pysupport

I'm proud to announce the first release 0.11.0 of the 0.11 series of
the Simple Backup suite.

patches, testing, reporting bugs and translating!

Series 0.11.x finally replaces the old-fashioned Simple Backup 0.10.5
with code that was developed in (Not So) Simple Backup in the meantime.
It adds some very interesting features and is ready for daily
use.

We have removed the SBackup Wiki due to excessive spam on the site and moved to wiki.sourceforge.net.

Version 0.10.5 was released as a maintenance release for the stable series of the software.

Hi,
After a discussion with Aigars Mahinovs, the founder of Sbackup project, we agreed that NSsbackup could and should be renamed in Sbackup, taking over the Sbackup project. the two developer teams will merge and will maintain the Sbackup software.
For the occasion, a version 1.0~ppa1 of sbackup has been released using the source code of NSsbackup 0.1-6.

Have fun using it and report any bug that you would happen to have.

If you want to become part of the Simple Backup development team - help us and develop the frontend for the CD recording part of the backup procedure.

The Simple Backup Suite has now a simple website based on Wikka Wiki. This website is the definive source of information about current implementation of SBackup and plans for future revisions.
Feel free to correct, update, propose or even discuss simple backup possibilities on the new wiki at http://sbackup.sourceforge.net .

Simple Backup Suit has now reached full planned functionallity.
I invite you to test the 0.7 release and report all bugs that can find to the Sourceforge Bug trackers, so I can try to fix those before the 1.0 release.
One could also say that we have entered the beta testing phase.
