My first post. I'm a Sbackup noob and have just run my first backup onto an external drive. Everything looks OK but I would like to check out that the backup will restore OK. All this is on a Ubuntu 8.04 box.
If I just run a restore and it doesn't work, how can I get back to my present system? I know that the restores are said to be non destructive. Has anybody had any experience (good I hope) in restoring?
