#1 Handling of new lines

Currently new lines are interpreted as new paragraphs
(i.e. there is a short pause for a new line when the
text is read).

The problem is that many texts (ebooks, emails) don't
follow this convention (e.g. line break is more or less
random).
In most cases it would be better if only empty lines
were considered as paragraph delimiters.
