#2 empty_clipboard vs endless repeated speak loop

If i choose option 'empty_clipboard' after speaking.
All is well
EXCEPT then clipboard becomes useless for normal
editing cut/paste operations.
If i choose NOT 'empty_clipboard' after speaking.
Then sayzme keeps repeating the speak operation
endlessly
AND i can't get back in to change options.
The only way i could get it working again was to delete
the Options file;
reStart sayzme
respecify 'empty_clipboard'.
What i want to do is
NOT 'empty_clipboard' AND speak clipboard only once.
