saxsview-0.2.0 released

This is an work-in-progress release of saxsview, an application intended as a day-to-day plotting facility for SAXS-data, as well as a convenient tool to quickly generate plots ready for publication. It is Qt-based and works on Linux and Windows, probably on Mac as well.

This software is still under heavy development and known to be incomplete. However, some things already work. Please give it a try and report bugs, mistakes, problems and features you would like to see in later releases.... read more

saxsview-0.1.0 released (early preview)

This is an "early preview" release of saxsview, an application intended as a day-to-day plotting facility for SAXS-data, as well as a convenient tool to quickly generate plots ready for publication in multiple formats (.ps, .pdf, .svg, .jpg). It is Qt-based and works on Linux and Windows, probably on Mac as well.

In this early release many details are broken or simply not implemented yet, e.g. icons are missing, configuration dialogs are incomplete etc. - please give it a try nonetheless. Basic plotting of 1D-curves works (.dat, .int, .fit/.fir formats of the ATSAS package), so does the display of 2D scattering images in Crystallographic Binary Format (CBF). ... read more
