[saxon] *** Internal Saxon error: local variable encountered whose binding has been deleted

There is a 2011 ticket on this problem, but it still presents in 9.5EE & 9.6EE.

There are two attached code samples. One uses recursion and one does not.The recursive approach fails in EE, but works in PE (Tested with 9.5EE on the command-line, & 9.6EE/PE in Oxygen). Tested with 9.5PE & 9.6PE command-line. Hope you find this information useful.
