I need to process XML-files containing Public DTD-Identifier.
Doing as described in
yields the expected results.
Saxon Version 6.5.3
Java Version 1.4.2
However, I have got two questions:
Is it possible to do do the same with Instant Saxon on Windows? How?
What does the command look like when I want to invoke saxon by calling its
$> java -jar /path/to/saxon/saxon.jar ...
How to continue so that the resolver does as it is exprected to do?
I could not find out.
Thanks in advance for your help,

Instant Saxon uses the Microsoft Java VM, which implemented JDK 1.1. It's
increasingly rare to find Java code that still works under JDK 1.1. I think
you should regard Instant Saxon as history: as soon as you want to integrate
Saxon with other Java components, you should move forward to the full Saxon
product and an up-to-date JVM.

The -jar option ignores the contents of the classpath, and it can't be used
if you want to use Saxon in conjunction with other Java components loaded
from the classpath. Use the explicit invocation
java com.icl.saxon.StyleSheet (for 6.5.3)
Both these mechanisms are short-cut simlified ways of invoking Saxon that
work only in restricted environments.
