firstly, thank you, Alan, for such an excellent product. We've been
using it here for a few months with (almost) total success.
Now a problem that's got me flummoxed:
what would cause Saxon to sporadically throws this:
Once this happends, you have to reset the server before it runs OK
The application is a fairly large servlet-based online simulation
it uses Saxon 6.5.2 to produce quite large xhtml output pages under
fairly heavy load (10-20 concurrent users). The server is a Sun box with
java 1.4, Solaris 8 and Tomcat 4. The problem doesn't seem related to
the content being transformed, as if you reset the server output is
produced OK. I suspect it's running out of memory or threads, but I'm
finding it hard to track down. Has anyone else seen this exception?

It's either a bug in Saxon or a bug in some other Java software that's
running. You need to show the full stack trace to find out which.
