I confirmed that the new maintenance build does not address this issue.

Should I start my project with an evaluation copy of EE until I can compile for HE?

OK, it looks as if I'll have to do some more tests and document exactly how I made it work.

May take a few days because I'm at Balisage this week. Or I will be, if the flight ever takes off from Heathrow.

It works fine if the config file @edition="EE", but when it is "HE", it will not compile.

We recompiled the extensions for use with EE. I have tried setting my class path to use each of the extensions versions, but the same error always returns.

Does your experiment pass when @edition="HE"?

Thank you!

I have done an experiment trying to reproduce this. I get this error message when the class containing the extension function is not on the classpath. I don't get the error when it is on the classpath.

How do I use saxon extensions with a compiled stylesheet? When compiling the .sxx file, the extensions were in my classpath, but now when I try to run the .sxx file, I receive the error:

I have tried various combination of configuration elements (xslt/extensionElement and resources/extensionFunction), but have not found a combination that works.

The extension is located at http://www.innodata-isogen.com/knowledge_center/tools_downloads/saxon_extensions

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
