Looking at the documentation, it appears to be possible by enclosing the query in curly braces.

Hey,

I am trying to execute an xquery expression with 8.9 with a command line in windows. With saxon 9.4 it worked with the option -qs. But in Saxon 8.9 I could not find such an option. Is there another way to execute the xquery as a string in saxon 8.9 through a command line?

Kind regards,
Gleb
