I have a bazillion things running on that server, and that's just a graph of uptime, which is a composite of all that. In my excitement with working LS, I was fixating on it, assuming that a change in it would be the only change in the system, not considering all sorts of transient behavior elsewhere, much of which could be triggered by random network traffic.
