Hi, SAVISAP release 1.1.1 is available now on http://sourceforge.net/projects/savisap/files/ This version automatically stops when scanning so called ZIP bombs. The SAVI option "auto-stop" was added to the default settings. With parameter SCANBESTEFFORT you can define the behaviour of auto-stop. kind regards, -markus http://sourceforge.net/projects/savisap |

Hi, The version 1.1.0 returns in VsaInit always error messages, which helps to find problems,e.g. if you have another location of VDL and IDE files. There is now a RPM package available to make the installation and updates of savisap easier and faster. http://sourceforge.net/projects/savisap/files/ regards, -markus |

Hi, there is now a RPM package available to make the installation and updates of savisap easier and faster. http://sourceforge.net/projects/savisap/files/ Please consider that you should have installed Sophos in /opt/sophos-av/ or at least create a symbolic link from your installation to /opt/sophos-av, see http://downloads.sophos.com/readmes/installlinu_60_eng.txt , section 2.2.2 After installation "rpm -i savisap-xxx.rpm" you can use the library from /opt/sophos-av/lib/libsavisap.so or from /opt/sophos-av/lib64/libsavisap.so Escpecially the update is easier with RPM "rpm -U savisap-xxx.rpm". regards, -markus |
