#1 Doesn't Work on First Use

Right after installing, I put in my pop3 account settings,
and tried to connect. It said there wasn't any mail. I
then left the program and restarted it. I then tried to
connect without changing any pop3 settings, and it
worked. THis happened on two seperate machines in
Windows XP using fresh images (on my college's
computers).

You need to restart smm! It is printed out in the first
window that after configuring it you must restart it.
