What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Load SGM GX [r126] (fresh install) from USB HDD (either from official Channel or HBC, it doesn't matter)
2. Go into the settings to configure paths, rumble feature and so on.
3. Exit SGM GX, then load it again.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The settings will be back to default again instead of staying the way they were configured. That means the rumble feature will be active again even if turned off before and the paths will be the default ones (pointing to usb8 even if only usb1 and 2 are present)
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
[r126] on real NAND, Sys Menu 4.3E
Please provide any additional information below.

this is also (still?) a problem under WiiU vWii using [r127] for vWii ...
is there a way to manually create a config file manually and have it get used until this is fixed?

Same problem on [r127] with my wii on 4.3E.
That's a real problem because I'm not using an USB key but a SD card to make my backup (so I had to change the path every time I launch SM Gx)
Back to my old [r98].
