The Perl interpreter itself handles these flock requests - Savant just calls the interpreter and hands back either the output from the script or an error message. The UNIX implementations of Perl support flock (mainly because flock() is a native UNIX system call). The version of Perl that ships with Savant is a couple versions older than the most recent - if you haven't already, you might consider going to activestate.com and downloading/installing a newer version. I honestly doubt that any version of Perl on Win32 supports flock, but I've been known to be wrong before about this sort of thing. > G. Michael |
