Hello! Sardana-jupyter <https://gitlab.com/sardana-org/sardana-jupyter> initial release (0.1.0) is out. In case you don't know what it is, sardana-jupyter combines the environment of a JupyterLab <https://jupyterlab.readthedocs.io/en/latest/> instance with Sardana. You might remember it from this follow-up meeting <https://gitlab.com/sardana-org/sardana-followup/-/blob/main/20211104/MINUTES.md>. You can run python code and macros inside cells in a Notebook, or even show plots from scans. This is how it looks like when running a scan in sardana-jupyter. https://i.imgur.com/NwSH0ip.png The list of the most relevant features can be found in the CHANGELOG <https://gitlab.com/sardana-org/sardana-jupyter/-/blob/main/CHANGELOG.md>. You can try the demo inside a docker container, see this <https://gitlab.com/sardana-org/sardana-jupyter#docker-demo>. The project is hosted in sardana-org/sardana-jupyter <https://gitlab.com/sardana-org/sardana-jupyter>. It is still a work in progress but it would be great to already hear your feedback. Marc Espin |
