Dear all, In the Sardana project we reached a very long backlog of issues: ~350. In order to reduce it we are now starting with the classification and prioritization of issues. We anticipate to finish this process in the following month. Right after that we wanted to organize a bug squashing party - an online meeting where developers from different institutes work together to solve the most priority issues. We would like to invite you to participate in this event. We believe it will be a good opportunity to meet again or to get to know new faces from the scientific/controls world, share knowledge by participating in pair-programming sessions, peer reviews, etc. and of course to improve the Sardana project. We imagine the following format of the event: three consecutive days with a morning sessions only: 9:00 - 13:00. You can of course still participate in it partially e.g. only some days or hours. In order to choose the best days, please vote in this poll [1] and mark which days fits the best to you. Many thanks in advance for you interest in the Sardana Bug Squashing Party 2021 event!
