I used double editing interface for the WAP-area site of mobilizer.by.
For example you can edit content blocks in HTML (the template in HTML
contains <sapid:apply name="qc.blockname.value" type="publication" />), but
your Flash will apply to document by URLs like
site.com/var1/var2/data/tpl-xmlscheme/. Where site.com/var1/var2/ is address
of the document and /data/tpl-xmlscheme/ is special instruction for CMS.
This format makes CMS to show document in specified template (WAP, SVG or
another XML)

I'm looking for a  CMS that will let me publish xml/xhtml files edited
in another tool. If I make a change to the xml file I want the change
to propagate to the site dynamically. I should not have to do anything
in the CMS-interface for the changes to propagate.

Will sapid do this?

hello, i am a newbie in sapid. I am trying to make a pure xml output from
sapid. Everything works fine now, but i've problem with the links in menu=
.
I'm not using module rewrite for my webserver, so the path is something
like http://localhost/?vpath=3D/en/index
the xml output is something like this:

<menu><link href=3D"http://localhost/en/index">index</link></menu>
It is generating like i'm using modrewrite, but i need something like
<menu><link href=3D"http://localhost/?vpath=3D/en/index">index</link></me=
nu>

Can you help me please howto make the links looks like without modrewrite=
.

Hello Hayssam.

There's two possible way to solve this problem. First is faster, but
second's better :)

1. As I remember, ISO-8859-1 is the same thing as cp1252, so there's
cp1252 map file in usr/system/utf/ folder. So, you can just specify
CP1251 instead of ISO-8859-1 or rename map file.

2. And the second way. UFT8 converter class used only if php compliled
without iconv extension. Using iconv is recommended, because iconv
fuctions work much faster than their replacement written in php (utf8
converter class).

What you need to install iconv extension:

You will need nothing if the system you are using is one of the recent
POSIX-compliant systems because standard C libraries that are supplied
in them must provide iconv facility. Otherwise, you have to get the
libiconv (http://www.gnu.org/software/libiconv/) library installed in
your system.

Installation
To use functions provided by this module, the PHP binary must be built
with the following configure line: --with-iconv[=DIR].

I just installed the newest beta (sapid_v123_050525) and there seems  
to be a bug, but maybe I am this bug ;-) So I really need some help  
here.
After successful installation (the manual way) I get:

So it seems that SAPID is looking for /Library/WebServer/Documents/

I've received a few requests about SAPID CMF prototype, which based on =
MySQL.
So, I am forced to answer to community maillist

That prototype of SAPID CMF is customized for the commerce project =
requirements (MySQL,unloading tree, semantic links and e.t.c.). =
Unfortunately we cann't distribute that version. However we creating =
freeware SAPID CMF at present=20

В течении недели появится SAPID 1.2.3 file-flat со всеми updates
в дальнейшем, похоже, будут поддерживатся две ветви SAPID file-flat Edition
и SAPID CMF Edition
