#28 Applications not starting due to /etc/lsb-release

Multiple Ubuntu applications do not start due to the information contained about the distribution in /etc/lsb-release.

For example: 'applications -> settings -> ubuntu software center' (or "/usr/share/software-center/software-center")

Solution: Posted to the mailing-list by Adam Schroeder

Change the file contents from:

DISTRIB_ID=SamuraiWTF
DISTRIB_RELEASE=2.0
DISTRIB_CODENAME=precise
DISTRIB_DESCRIPTION="SamuraiWTF 2.0 based on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS"

TO:

DISTRIB_ID=Ubuntu
DISTRIB_RELEASE=12.04
DISTRIB_CODENAME=precise
DISTRIB_DESCRIPTION="SamuraiWTF 2.0 based on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS"
