When you shutdown SamuraiWTF from the GUI using the Live DVD version, the system remains on the SamuraiWTF screen and does not present the eject the CD/DVD message.

Temporary solution:
You can shutdown the system at this point by pressing any key.

We no longer release a live DVD and the VM appears to be shutting down correctly.
