I wanted to suggest adding Dealer's Choice and it's dependencies to Salix. Each of its dependencies are in the Slackbuilds repo, although Dealer's Choice bundles them (in the source release tarball), or if building from git they're downloaded during the meson build process (except protobuf-c which is more widely available). Although some of the projects I maintain are not widely known or used yet, my goals are high quality, ease of building/packaging, and making sure they "just work". If you glance at the Dealer's Choice CI on the project repo, for example, you'll see that I test on several platforms to help ensure build quality. Code quality is debatable though, I admit, lol, but my biggest motivation for making this game is to play with my friends and family, so I always endeavor to do a lot of testing and make sure we can all play with no pesky bugs interfering with us. We usually play for an hour over the LAN and WAN, with no network-related issues or disconnects. The link is in the first sentence (way above), but here's the description:
Dealer's Choice is a cross-platform, networked multiplayer poker game supporting draw, stud, and community-card variants, including Texas Hold'em and Omaha, with optional wild cards. The deal rotates around the table, and the dealer chooses the game before each hand.
