As I don't have any ntfs partitions to try it with, I really have no idea. But I'm curious as how gmountman mounts it. It will help to find out if thunar is the only one that gets it right, or pcmanfm the only one that gets it wrong.

Hi,

I've noticed a strange problem with my pcmanfm-mod 1.2.3. It mounts ntfs
volumes write proteced, even if the mount options seem to be ok:
pcmanfm:
/dev/sde1 on /media/POPP type fuseblk
(rw,nosuid,nodev,allow_other,blksize=4096,default_permissions)

thunar:
/dev/sde1 on /media/POPP type fuseblk
(rw,nosuid,nodev,allow_other,blksize=4096,default_permissions)

But file permissions look like this:
pcmanfm:
dr-xr-xr-x 1 root root 4096 Jun 20  2010 musik/

thunar:
drwx------ 1 thorsten root 4096 Jun 20  2010 musik/
