Can you tell me please how i can install Salient OS on a USB and make it a persistent installation so what I create or install gets saved on the USB?

Thank you. I still can't get to this URL, is this maybe a symptom of a different problem, maybe resolving $arch fails and the URL should be different?

The URL is correct for the repo. I am building from it now, packages are being pulled. Although it appears you have an older build(?) since i have not signed the packages for a while, for technical reasons.

Try clearing your pacman cache: pacman -Scc then do pacman -Syy then pacman -Syu

thank you for checking. Yes I have an older release, what's the best way to replace with non-signed packages? Currently I removed salient-os from pacman.conf,, the only thingI'm really missing out on is salient-hooks, not sure if this is a vital piece. Everything else I could replace from the AUR

Sorry to bombard with messages, based on your comment it's solved by making SIGLEVEL optional trustall (instead of trustedonly). We can mark this thread as solved, not sure there is an option here to do so.
