Some Confusion regarding iso

Hey Salient robot, could you please clear my confusion regarding whether do I need to reinstall the os every time a new iso is released or can I just keep updating my current installation through Pacman and if I do need to reinstall it every time then please tell me how can I do it without losing my installed programs.

  Unfortunately, i don't have a remote repository atm, so yes, when a new ISO drops it is a fresh install, if you wish but, since arch is rolling it is not 100% required. Most changes are quite minor concerning optimisations or fixing minor niggles at this point.
