Description:
The Transform Point Cloud module provides the functionality to move, rotate and scale a point cloud. Since it is based on a 9 parameter transformation, the calculations can be performed within a 3-dimensional space.
Parameters:
Move:
These parameters describe the shift (given in map units) which will be applied to the point cloud. The amount can be set for each direction (x, y, z).
Rotate:
These parameters define the rotation angles (in degrees) used to rotate the point cloud around the corresponding axis. The rotation is performed along the axes according to the left-hand system: positive angles result in a clockwise rotation when facing the origin of the axis.
Scale:
The scale parameters are used to scale the point cloud using the factors given. Different factors can be specified for x, y and z.
Anchor Point:
The anchor point describes the center of rotation.
