Compiling SAGA on Linux


On Linux, you can compile either a Non-Unicode or a Unicode version of SAGA. Building the latter is straight forward (and recommended), as most Linux distributions come along with a Unicode port of the wxWidgets GUI library (the wxGTK package). For a Non-Unicode build, you will need to compile wxWidgets on your own.
