SAGA 2.0.1 released

SAGA 2.0.1 Release Notes

Dear SAGA user community,

it is just a few weeks ago that SAGA 2.0.0 has been released, but as you can see: the 'saga' goes on continuously. This release brings primarily bug fixes for the Linux GUI, which amongst other annoying things did not display the modules menu correctly. Besides this an additional workspace tab showing thumbnails for maps has been added. You also find a few new modules, from which a new preprocessing method for digital terrain models - contributed by Volker Wichmann - is perhaps the most notable one.

For Linux users it might be of interest that together with this release a package for Gentoo Linux has been prepared - again thanks to Thomas Schorr. We hope that packages for other distributions follow in future. We appreciate any help from the Linux community.

And now I wish that you enjoy the world of spatial analysis with SAGA.
