Polyclipping now has a CMake build system to produce a shared library.

Sadly I'm not sure how to detect C++ libraries properly within configure. The header is placed in a "polyclipping" subdirectory, because of the generice name. The library is called libpolyclipping.

I'll have a look; but they should first implement proper versioning. So we only check/build against compatible versions of the library.

Do you mean the soname versioning? The currect version is 0 and I asked the author to bump it for incompatible changes.

Ok, I only saw 0.0.0 and that usually means that nobody cares about versioning.
I'll try to add support for an external libpolyclipping soon.

I wasn't aware it would be perceived this way. Thanks for taking care of it. I also added the library to upstream-tracker:
