Hi, As per the behavior of saCkptCheckpointOpenAsync() function, this function should return SA_AIS_OK irrespective of whether the checkpoint service was able to open checkpoint or not. The actual return value from the service should be returned through saCkptCheckpointOpenCallbackT. However, in the saf test cases, namely, saCkptCheckpointOpenAsync_25, saCkptCheckpointOpenAsync_26, saCkptCheckpointOpenAsync_6_3, 6_4, 6_5, 6_6 and 6_7, the test is expecting the failed return value from the saCkptCheckpointOpenAsync() function itself. This is wrong expectation. I couldnt find any bug raised on this. Could you please confirm about this? Regards, Shridhar |

There are several bugs in saftest AIS. Even though fixing all of the bugs may take some time, many of the bugs already have patches attached which resolve the problem. Could the bugs with patches have a quick look at and release a new version? It is difficult to carry all of these diffs in my own test trees. It might also give us a better sense of what bugs need patches created for them. Regards -steve |

Hello, all. =20 I analyzed OpenHpi tests for sensor event masks set and I see some problems: =20 1. Tests use SAHIP_ALL_EVENT_STATES mask to set event mask value. I think it's not right. Sensor RDR contains field Events of supported events and only these events can be tested. All other events return INVALID_DATA error. 2. As I understand field Events is a concatenation of supported assert and deassert masks. OpenHpi functions don't allow to define supported assert and deassert masks separately. =20 I suggest a way to resolve this problem: =20 1. Separately add assert mask and deassert mask for every bit of supported Events. 2. If add assert mask or add deassert mask is OK - this event bit is supported, otherwise it is FAIL. 3. If event is supported for assert mask you can use this bit as AssertEventMask to test saHpiSensorEventMasksSet function. 4. If event is supported for deassert mask you can use this bit as DeassertEventMask to test saHpiSensorEventMasksSet function. =20 What do you think about my suggestion? Do you have another solution of this problem? =20 Thanks, Mikhail. =20 |

Hello all. =20 Previous version (saftest_HPI-B_01_01_1.0.3) has option DSCV and it was very useful. On the current version (saftest_HPI-B_01_01_1.0.6) OpenHpi tests don't run on the local machine without this option. I think DSCV is not mandatory option and it can be added to the OpenHpi test suite. =20 Thanks Mikhail. =20 |
