A few weeks ago my IP DB disappeared. I then uninstalled satepeer and reinstalled. The DB came back. I don't know when, but the DB is gone again. Probably in the last day or two as I would have noticed that no IP's were blocked. I tried the uninstall etc. thing and did not work. The safepeer.cache seems to be gone. It's a hidden file but I was able to find the properties and log files. I have J2SE ver. 5.0 upd.10 and it was working with this version. The DB URLs listed The blocklist url;http://www.bluetack.co.uk/config/spconfig.txt
could not connect. The Maindatabase and Secondary url;http://dialspace.dial.pipex.com/.....
http://homepage.networld.com/....
also could not connect. Is this system down or is there some kind of bug in my system. Anyhow my system is barefoot on broken glass.

Please advise,
Lou

bluetack.co.uk seems to have lost a server, and cannot cope with the load at the moment. Consider using the suggestion on <http://www.baddass.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/torrent.htm> and point SafePeer to a file on your harddisk.

You need to find a blocklist somewhere - do a search for level1.txt in google ...

    Best regards

    Here is a fix!
Open the SafePeer Plugin <Plugins> <SafePeer>

    1) Get a new block list from:
    http://www.bluetack.co.uk/forums/index.php?act=dscript&CODE=showdetails&f_id=17
    download it to c:/level1.txt

    2) Disable the block list manager see:
    http://bunta.orcon.net.nz/safepeerguide.htm
Uncheck ENABLE BLOCKLIST MANAGER (requires restart)

    3) Use the file you downloaded in step 1) as the
"Main Databases URLs" by entering it as:
    file:///c:/level1.txt

    4) Restart Azureus

This will work for now. You can use any path you want but for ease I used c:/ I hope this helps!
