I like this idea in some ways. I would like to expand on it
a bit though. I just noticed that Asia Infonet is listed as
one of the banned outfits according to your list. I assume
it's because they throttle bandwidth on International
connections. The problem for me is that Asia Infonet (Now
called True Internet) is my ISP. I only discovered that
this "feature" of your software may be seriously limiting my
d/l speeds by accident. For me, you see, by far the FASTEST
connections I could possibly get are through other Asia
Infonet IP addresses. I'm sure many other people are in the
same boat. Any way to address this?
Also - maybe you could have different levels of ip blocking,
depending on how serious the threat is. Obviously there is
a big difference between an isp that slows down BT traffic
and one that throws junk out onto the network. Thanks!
