Sorry for the delay, I needed some time to think about this one. Marco's point is well taken, and it's tempting to just go ahead. However, doing so has the potential to quietly break peoples restore scripts, and they will find out at the worst possible time. To add insult to injury, these things are usually done once and then people forget about them until they are really needed. I'd suggest a slightly different approach: - add a switch like save-db-name="true|false" (help with naming much appreciated) - if present, we do the obvious; if absent, we maintain current semantics.
