I composed a LONG encrypted mail to a major donor to a political activist
movement. She took four days to get to it, and then called me to ask how. I
started to talk her through it, and found it had "expired for security
reasons". Worse, the "retrieval" process doesn't work(!) and I did NOT put
an expiration on it.
I don't have a copy of the nearly two pages of detailed text.
You - SUCK. Destroying people's data is the absolute worst thing any IT
process can do. GHAAA.
Hello Jim,
Messages expires for security reason, it's explained in the app video.
When it expires it doesn't mean that the keys are destroyed. (source code
is open at: https://github.com/crised/SafeGmail)
Please tell me what was the exact bug, to see if I can fix it.
Sorry for the inconvenience,
Cristian
