Hi there. I downloaded the extension from Safegmail through Chrome but cannot see anything different on my Gmail homepage. I have clicked on "Compose," but do not see any sort of "Encrypt" button. Can you help?

Did you figure out what the issue was?

In what language is your Gmail?

That's odd, maybe you have more extensions that are blocking ours.

In your browser, copy & paste this link:
    chrome://chrome/extensions/

Try to delete other extensions, and CHECK that SafeGmail is listed there.

    Hi,

did that and it showed only one extension, Safegmail, and said, "enabled." I have a MACbook. Could that be it?

I am also having the exact same problem with a macbook running Mountain Lion. Is there a solution for this yet?

Even i have the same issue. I had downloaded and installed an earlier version on a different laptop (Windows XP, Chrome latest) and it works fine. I wanted to install it on another computer recently and the encrypt button just doesnt show up. This is the most recent version of SafeGmail. Please update.

Gmail, Recently changed their structure, so button didn't show up.

We've fixed this issue, it's working now. Thanks.

    Change your Gmail to English.

Well, you should see an Encrypt Check Box. Maybe remove others extensions. Try reloading the COMPOSE page, Control + R

Nice work, there is still something in the Gmail schema that is not standard. Service is working fine.

Maybe try changing the e-mail format to HTML (not plain text)

I have the same issue with my Chromebook that I just got. The button doesn't show up. I disabled all my extensions and it still doesn't work.
