Welcome to the SafeFrame project

SafeFrame provides a controlled environment for publishers to serve third-party advertisements. Advertisements run in an IFrame, and have access to viewable geometry data, expansion, and other features as allowed by the publisher.

SafeFrame is easy to integrate into your site with existing ads. By using SafeFrame you protect your site and your users from having a degraded experience due to errant advertisements. SafeFrame renders the advertisements in an IFrame hosted in a different domain, so the ad only has limited access to the hosting page.

The project source includes several examples of how to utilize SafeFrame. You can also read the [How-To] guide for simplified instructions.
