We have just released SafariSpeed 1.2.1, a minor update over version 1.2. This version fixes a number of small, cosmetic bugs and adds a new icon/disk image background.

We're excited to announce that we have released SafariSpeed 1.2! This version is a complete re-design of the SafariSpeed software from the ground up. It adds support for multiple optimizations - and adds the first of these new optimizations: disabling favorite icons.

Favorite icons are the small pictures that appear in your address bar and next to bookmarks. Over time, as Safari "collects" more and more of these pictures, these small files can start to slow down your computer and gobble disk space. SafariSpeed now allows you to disable favorite icons in Safari and purge existing icons with just one, easy click of the mouse!
