#4 samba version number check

since debian lenny the samba version number its formed with a 2:<the version number> i dont know why, even if it is samba 3 the version number will say something like 2:3.12.07.
this causes the installation script to fail. i have discovered that if you go to the samba chechk script ande change the version check it works flawlesly.
this also happens in ubuntu 8.10. i think its happenning in all derivatives of debian.
